We were an 8-member family group. My niece wrote this for our group:Our trip to Chiang Mai was one of the most memorable experiences we've had as a family—largely thanks to Mr. Kitty, our tour guide, and Mr. Patrick, our driver. From the very start, they made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. They were easy to talk to, always on time, and thoughtful in anticipating our needs. Having such a wonderful team allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment together—it turned each stop into a shared, meaningful family memory. We experienced so much in just a few days. One of the highlights was the cultural dinner show—enjoying a traditional Thai meal while watching local dances was such a lovely way to spend an evening. We also had an unforgettable time with the elephants! We got to scrub their big toes, bathe them in the river, and feed them sugarcane. Along the way, we learned so much about their lives, personalities, and anatomy—it was both fun and informative. We also visited several temples around Chiang Mai, where we gained insight into Thai Buddhism and the deep respect Thai people have for their King. The sticky waterfalls were another favorite—cool, refreshing water and scenic mountain views made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Finally, visiting the tribal villages gave us the chance to learn about local traditions, dances, and crafts. We brought home beautifully handwoven items as souvenirs of their rich culture. In addition, Mr. Kitty was very patient and accommodating that whenever we wanted to take photos—he never rushed us and even suggested great spots. He’s also a great photographer himself—many of our favorite photos from the trip were taken by him! Thanks to him, we have so many great pictures to look back on! Mr. Kitty and Mr. Patrick made the entire experience smooth, meaningful, and enjoyable. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. Participating in their care—scrubbing their feet, feeding them, and even bathing them—was such a heartwarming and memorable experience. It was wonderful to see how well they were treated, and our guide’s insights made it even more meaningful. Another unforgettable moment was our day trip to Chiang Rai’s White Temple. The intricate design was breathtaking, and having a knowledgeable guide helped us appreciate its artistry and symbolism even more. We did the coffee tour experience and we had an amazing morning! The farm was beautiful, our guide was lovely and experienced. We had fun at the granma’s farm. Not only did we taste coffee (we had so many coffees 😂), we also had a yummy lunch prepared by granma. Thank you again to the amazing guide!! See you next time to see how our baby plants are growing!
