This public winter tour offers an immersive journey through the snowy landscapes of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Across several days, you will travel through peaceful valleys, frozen rivers, and towering mountain ranges as your guide shares insight into the natural history and wildlife that thrive in the colder months. Comfortable heated vehicles allow you to enjoy the beauty of winter while keeping warm, and the slower winter pace of the parks offers wonderful opportunities to see animals in their natural habitats. Bison moving through deep snow, moose resting beneath willows, elk herds grazing in open fields, and the possibility of spotting wolves or foxes all contribute to the magic of this season. Each day brings new scenery, new stories, and new chances to observe the parks in their quiet winter stillness.
Your multi day adventure also includes special winter activities that make the experience truly memorable. A horse drawn sleigh ride across the National Elk Refuge allows you to move peacefully among one of the largest wintering elk herds in the region, offering beautiful views and close wildlife encounters. A snowcoach journey into Yellowstone brings you to the geothermal wonders hidden deep within the park, including the world famous Old Faithful geyser. Seeing steam rise from the earth against the snowy surroundings is a rare and unforgettable sight. Throughout the tour, you will enjoy guided interpretation, scenic stops, wildlife viewing sessions, and the shared experience of exploring two of Americas most iconic national parks in their most peaceful season.

Although it was winter in Wyoming…we had a clear day and boy are we happy we drove through this park! We were only able to go 3 miles in near the Jackson entrance but well worth it. We saw 3 moose, multiple deer, elk and Heavenly mountains…It’s so surreal, these mountains are almost not of this earth! Breathtaking is an understatement. We would love to come back in the warmer months and properly explore this beautiful park! Thank you for preserving this piece of land on our beautiful planet!

One of my favorite parks! The hiking is so user friendly! The traffic isn't horrible like some of the major parks out west. But the views are definitely going to compete with any place in the continental US!

🌄 Absolutely stunning place! Grand Teton National Park is full of natural beauty — majestic snow-covered peaks, crystal-clear lakes like Jenny Lake, and peaceful valleys filled with wildlife. Every sunrise and sunset here looks magical, with golden light reflecting off the mountains. A perfect destination for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who loves adventure! 🌲✨

I've been here before, but this time is more memorable. I was able to spend time with friends working in the park and the fall colors, sunsets, stars, wildlife, and weather was just spectacular. Definitely great memories this trip. I love National Parks and I was also able to stamp my passport while visiting. I love nature and enjoying these beautiful places.

My favorite place on earth, have gone the past two years, just no words to describe this heaven. My wife is a photographer so early mornings for sunrise is a must for everyone. We’ve been able to check out moose Wilson road early morning, day time and evening, we say a black bear and a few elk there, no moose but definitely moose territory. Also checked out xbow bend area and saw woodland ducks. For hiking we tackled delta lake honor which took us just under seven hours to do, that’s including an hour break at the lake, and it’s a very serious climb including boulder climbing and pretty much straight up at the end. It’s not an easy hike by any means but extremely well worth it. It’s going to be hard to beat that view of the lake and main peak of the Tetons above. We also hiking lake taggart, it was ok but our least favorite hike. We liked the aspen grove you walk through on the north end of the trail (we go in the fall, absolutely gorgeous colors). But we liked other lakes more. Other than delta our favorite hike was cascade canyon. Left from string lakes, went to hidden falls then up to inspiration lake then back into the canyon itself about half way. On the way back we took horse trail bypassing inspiration point and hidden falls which was another pretty view. Easy hike though and saw moose! We carry bear spray on all hikes.
