Full-Day Yellowstone Wildlife and Geothermal Tour via Grand Teton National Park

Experience two of America’s most spectacular national parks on a full-day guided adventure through Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the dramatic landscapes of Grand Teton, where towering mountain peaks, pristine valleys, and abundant wildlife provide countless opportunities for photography and sightseeing. Along the way, your expert guide makes carefully selected stops for wildlife viewing and shares fascinating insights into the region’s remarkable natural environment.

Upon entering Yellowstone National Park, you'll explore some of its most iconic landmarks and geothermal wonders. Visit the legendary Old Faithful geyser, admire the expansive beauty of Yellowstone Lake, witness the powerful Lower Falls cascading into the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and stroll through several active geyser basins where steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and colorful thermal features showcase the park’s extraordinary volcanic landscape. Each destination includes time to walk scenic boardwalks, capture memorable photographs, and fully appreciate Yellowstone’s unique natural wonders.

Throughout the day, your knowledgeable guide brings the landscape to life with engaging commentary on Yellowstone’s volcanic origins, geothermal activity, wildfire ecology, and the history that has shaped one of the world's first national parks. The tour also offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, with chances to spot bison, elk, moose, grizzly bears, black bears, wolves, bald eagles, pronghorn, coyotes, and mule deer in their natural habitats. Binoculars and a high-powered spotting scope are provided to help guests observe wildlife from a safe and comfortable distance.

Midway through the adventure, enjoy a relaxing picnic-style lunch freshly prepared by your guide, allowing you to unwind while surrounded by Yellowstone’s breathtaking scenery. My husband and I took two tours with Yellowstone Day Tours. Our first tour was an all day tour of Yellowstone with Jeff as our guide. He and a van full of other merry revelers met us at our hotel at the crack of dawn and away we went. We had a great tour. Jeff was great about making sure we saw the best areas as well as areas we had no idea about. We saw all kinds of wildlife too. He was great about asking us if we were ok for potty breaks, etc. We had all ages on this tour and that made it even better. Such a fun group. I'd highly recommend Jeff and this group if you're planning a tour. Our second tour was the sunrise tour of the Tetons with Katy. Loved her! She had a great sense of humor and made sure we saw as much as we could in our 5 hours. The vans are all very comfortable with binocular's provided. Katy even showed us how to use the binocular's with our Iphones to zero in on a particular animal. We saw pronghorns, bears, bison, elk, moose and probably some I'm forgetting. Food was good on both tours. Water is provided. Do these tours! You won't regret it!

We had an incredible day with Duncan and Kelly in a nice van that could carry about 8 customers with big windows and comfortable seats. We could not have had a better time. We started early and went thru the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. We saw bison, elk- both female and big racks, both male and female moose, grizzly and black bears, otters, eagles and other birds, mule deer. There were probably others, but that was most of them. Breakfast and lunch were both good and filling. Lots of great information and interesting, entertaining stories about the history in the region. The price was reasonable for what they gave us. Call them direct and deal with them and you will get well cared for. Gary
