It’s nice and the garden is pretty but an important tip is to keep a taxi waiting for you because there are no taxis around and not every taxi is allowed into Arequipa centre and Uber doesn’t drive around there because it’s on the outside of the city.
Visited during open hours listed online but they were closed for an event. No indication of them being closed for an event online. I would recommend calling before visiting so this doesn’t happen to you too.
Attended a wedding here. Not hard to get to from our hotel in the city center of Arequipa. Beautiful location, vistas, building full of history. Of course the event planner and caterers made the event what it was, but the site itself was secure, picturesque, facilities very well maintained and ideal for an amazing party.
It is an enchanting place that takes you back in time. The mansion is well preserved, with beautiful gardens and a little chapel.
