I placed an order at the Dublin store in person a month ago for delivery to my home. I have emailed the help desk multiple times. They stated they would reach out to the store for an update. No update was given to me so I reached out again asking for an update. Their response was the store hasn’t sent them an update yet and they would reach out again. They also stated that that was not unusual because it’s tourist season. Still no update. I’m allowing one more week before I call my credit card company and dispute the charges.

I love the sweaters I bought at Weavers. They are merino wool which is not the local sheep but they are knitted using the traditional patterns that have so much meaning. The Diamond stitch representing strong nets and good fishing. The cable, The blackberry, the basket weave all have special meanings. That makes my sweater more than just a cute piece of clothing to wear but a piece of Irish history preserved by Irish women. Its special.

Dear Weavers of Ireland, My wife and I visited your wonderful store in Dublin ( July 2025 ) which is not to far from Trinity College. The store is special, well kept, clean, upbeat and the clothing is so classic - yet so stylish. My wife Cathie purchased some wool scarves ( for her and her friends ) , a stuffed lamb, and a man's white shirt for me. The clerks are very nice and helped wrap the purchases to be shipped for free to the United States. We tried on sweaters that were very nice and there were nice coats and some mens hats that were also very nice. This store is very special and they have many things that are so well made and styled to select from. We hope to return to Dublin next year and will definitely return to the store for more nice things to purchase. Thank you, Weavers of Ireland, for a great experience.

Weavers of Ireland is a chain of stores that have locations across Ireland hawking woolen goods from Irish woollen makers. While there a number of brands, the stores are targeted towards tourists and do not represent the breadth of artisans in this country. They do have a broad selection of goods and I really like the sheep that looked like Sean the sheep especially in a flat cap! If you need an item fast go here, but if you want something made by a small maker then do a search. We found Kevin & Howlin to be excellent.
