Hands-On Nature Craft Course Blends Traditional Skills with Outdoor Learning
A new immersive outdoor course is offering participants the opportunity to transform natural resources into practical, handcrafted products. Designed as a hands-on learning experience, the programme focuses on teaching traditional techniques that result in tangible, usable creations made entirely by participants.
Each session guides learners through the process of working with natural materials while developing practical crafting skills. By the end of the course, participants leave not only with a finished product they have created themselves, but also with the knowledge needed to continue similar work independently.
The experience is set in a natural wilderness environment, encouraging participants to slow down and connect with the surroundings. The setting allows individuals to step away from everyday routines and engage fully with the sights, sounds, and rhythm of nature.
In addition to skill development, the course promotes mindfulness, patience, and appreciation for natural resources. By combining practical learning with outdoor immersion, it offers a unique blend of education, creativity, and personal enrichment in a peaceful setting.

Customer Reviews
Thoroughly enjoyed the one day beginners wood turning course. Robert is clearly very skilled at his trade but he also has the ability to teach those that know nothing about wood turning. Robert is extremely patient and helps as much or little as needed during the course. The tea and scones is a nice aspect to the day also. would highly recommend the course.
Had a wonderful time with Robert doing the 2 day turning course for beginners, To start he has a superb set up in a bright, warm and inviting work shop that really promotes learning, Robert and Mary are lovely people and creat such a welcoming atmosphere, we worked on different teckneics, learned all the core skills to turn wood safely and effectively, I'd recommend this course to anyone that wants to give wood turning a try, Roberts demos are very straightforward and easy to follow, he actively engages with all of the students though out the day and you never feel like your not being guided, theres plenty of support there for the student, Robert is a very nice man aswell, very genuine and down to earth, you couldn't find a better teach if you tryed. The skill and knowledge he has is second to none, really had a great time on the course, at the end you have some lovely pices to bring home to show off! Thank you Robert and mary!
