Weaving Course: One Day for Intermediate Learners

Learn how to design and set up your own threading plan in this intermediate weaving workshop. During the session, you will be shown how threading the loom in different ways creates unique patterns in your woven fabric. You will then thread the loom according to your chosen plan and begin weaving, exploring how your design choices translate into the final piece. The workshop provides the opportunity to work on one of the 8-shaft Jane Louet looms, giving you the flexibility to create complex and interesting patterns.

By the end of the workshop, you will have produced a beautiful wall hanging to take home, along with the skills and confidence to experiment with threading and weaving in the future. The course runs from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, and alternative dates can be arranged if the scheduled sessions do not suit you. This workshop is ideal for intermediate learners looking to expand their weaving techniques, develop new design skills, and create a personalized piece of textile art.
