To say I enjoyed this tour was an understatement- I’m always interested to hear more about the local history and this tour provided a great insight into how Madrid was established, linking together the different parts of the city - the different walls built at different stages and the main influences during particular eras. It really gave me an appreciation for the roots of Madrid and definitely wanting to explore more. The humour, professionalism and personality as well as the in depth knowledge of our guide really stood out for me. And was so impressed to discover about the aquifer beneath Madrid that provides the tasty water! Super tour.
