A great pier with lovely views. a must-see in protaras
My family and I went on an amazing two-hour boat trip to the Blue Lagoon and Cape Greco. For just €20, we got to see some beautiful sights and even jump off the boat for a refreshing swim in the Blue Lagoon. The whole experience was fantastic!
An amazing place, with beautiful, clear sea, white sand, a wonderfully clean coastline, great food, and truly friendly locals. It's one of those places worth visiting again and again. It's a wonderful experience, and I can confidently say I'll gladly return! Love it 🩵
Pier in the resort of Protaras, ticket offices for various boats and cruises are at the start just off to the side where you can buy tickets for various excursions. Parking is limited but there is lots of parking around the resort some paid and some free. It's walkable from the main strip and just off the beach. Cruises provided are decent we use St George's and it had a great lunch and some good stops with swimming. Pier itself is slightly narrow and people can be quite rude so just watch out if you have kids or someone who needs to take their time.
Most boat trips leave from here, definitely worth doing. You get to swim at the stops and if lucky can swim with the turtles, but you are not allowed to touch them. Highly recommend. The beach's are amazing.
