Excellent shop. I bought bike here and never felt I was being pushed to spend more. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and very pleasant. I’m delighted with bike 2 years later and regularly go back. Very flexible eg swapped cassette at no cost when I bought. A few years later when I had wear on cassette but the didn’t have correct one in stock they leant me a cassette at no cost until appropriate one came in. Ideal if you know about bikes but honestly think you would be sold a bike that suits you if you are starting. Great range of accessories as well.
I’ve continually had excellent experiences at the Specialized Concept Store. The quality of service is outstanding, with staff who are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely interested in talking about bikes. From advice on bike selection to setup and fitting, they take the time to get things right. The store also has a wide range of bikes across all the Specialized ranges. Years ago, I'd have to fly to the USA to see all the latest S-Works bikes. Now, they're all in this store - it's like Christmas morning each time I go in. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent service and top-class bikes.
I had a great experience with specialized and would highly recommend the shop. I recently bought a new tarmac with them and the customer service was second to none. Ross personally looked after me the whole way through the process, from the day I walked into the shop for a browse, through to ordering the bike in, getting it built and eventually purchasing it. Easily the best experience I've had in any bike shop, the staff were knowledgeable and personable and listened to my needs/interests every step of the way. When I started thinking about buying a new bike I wasn't set on specialized, but as a result of my great experience with the shop I ended up going with them. I would have no hesitation recommending them to friends and I will certainly be back there myself. Update after 2 months: I visited the Specialized shop at the weekend for my bike fit which was part of the purchasing of my new Tarmac back in June. Chris carried out the fit for me and was excellent. His level of expertise was clear from the outset, he knew the issues I might have been having just from looking at my setup and from the measurements he took, and I could really feel the difference in the small adjustments he made. I had been thinking of getting new shoes and decided to have a look at them during the fit in order to have them set up, and Chris guided me through this. We carefully considered all the options and how each might suit me, and I’m really happy with the decision we came to. I went for a spin on the bike the following day and was delighted with the changes and felt really good on the bike. I am really impressed (but I’m happy to say, not surprised) at the standard of customer service I’ve received yet again from the staff at Specialized. This was a follow-up visit after my bike purchase and I felt that they really cared about my experience with my new bike, and they have looked after me well at every step (including pricing). They will certainly be my go-to bike shop for the foreseeable and I have recommended them to all my friends. It’s rare that I feel so strongly about an experience to bother writing a review (let alone two)!
Happy I went to Specialized. Sirrus X 4.0 is a great bike. Chris did a very professional job 'fitting' me for it, makes a massive diffrence having it set up just for me. Good lads in there.
