It's not easy these days to find a business that is truly customer-focused in everything they do. In our experience, Mountain Trike are a glowing exception to that general rule. We've owned their e-Trike for 3.5 years now and, throughout that time, all our contact with them has been extremely positive. The staff are: * always warm and friendly * prepared to give us time, without ever giving the impression we have taken more of their time than they were expecting * totally focused on us during any communication * good at listening to our needs * quick to grasp what we are looking for * willing to flex to meet those needs * keen to ensure we are happy with the outcome They are a delight to deal with.
I am a transient wheelchair user follwing a serve crush injury several years back. Having already purchased a second hand mountain trike last year I decided to take the leap and upgrade my mountain trike with the eKit as I would struggle on bad days or highly hilly areas with the manual drive alone. Recieved the eKit motor last week in time for a weekdn away at Legoland for my sons birthday. The park is very hilly which the motor more than handled, without which I would have needed to push or be pushed. Battery held up fine, I charged overnight but expect it would have likely managed the weekend without. Well worth the investment for better time with the family though i do understand its not cheap. But for me my second hand trike transformed how I could spend time with my family and the motor has enabled me full independence especially on the longer days or my worse days. I hope it will allow me get back on long days hiking with the family when my health is better.
The Mountain Trike is an amazing piece of design. I have never experienced such a comfortable and easy to operate wheelchair where your hands don’t get full of mud and other things. Being able to rely on proper brakes is a life saver. The team at Mountain Trike are supportive and ready to help in any way. I highly recommend Mountain Trike.
Fantastic Mountain e-trike can go all places, all terrains where you couldn't usually go in a manual wheelchair. Loving the freedom it has given me to explore the amazing outdoors and beautiful countryside. Easy to use, battery lasts a long time between charges, simple to get in and out of the car. Gives my wife a break from pushing! Great customer service. Vastly improved my quality of life. Only negative is there's no reverse, be cautious if you're on your own and not that mobile. Best to have a free home demo to try for yourself and your specific needs first. Otherwise highly recommended.
I have had my beloved Mountaintrike for more than 4 years now and it has changed my life! I'm able to get out into different environments with friends and family and enjoy nature again - and have fun getting down and dirty if I want. It copes brilliantly with getting over tree routes so woods are now a place to explore, I've taken it onto beaches, through snow, and even tried it on an ice-rink! A bunch of us go rambling in them. My strength soon built up by using it and I'm no spring chicken - a brilliant piece of engineering, worth every penny, and backed up by a lovely group of people who are there to help, should it ever be needed. My MT is the best thing I've ever bought and is as good now as when I got my excited little mitts on it...
