Experience Accessible Cycling Freedom With The Versatile JEDD Seven Speed Handcycle Rental Options

The JEDD handcycle represents a significant leap forward in accessible recreation, meticulously engineered by the legendary Ed Bell to provide a seamless road riding experience. This specialized equipment features a robust nine speed internal gear hub paired with reliable coaster brakes, ensuring that riders maintain complete control throughout their journey. By positioning the gear shift and parking brake conveniently below the cranks, the design prioritizes user accessibility and operational simplicity for every cyclist.

One of the standout features of this handcycle is its elevated seating height, which facilitates smooth and independent transfers for individuals with varying levels of mobility. This thoughtful design choice makes the process of getting on and off the cycle significantly easier compared to traditional models. Furthermore, the machine boasts a tighter turning radius, which enhances overall maneuverability and allows riders to navigate paths with greater precision regardless of their specific leg length or physical requirements.

Portability is a core component of the JEDD experience, thanks to the inclusion of quick release rear wheels that simplify transport and storage for users on the go. The cycle is specifically tailored for individuals who possess reasonable sitting balance, offering a secure platform that encourages confidence during outdoor excursions. Whether you are planning a short recreational ride or a longer adventure, the equipment provides a safe, comfortable, and truly empowering way to explore local trails.

Rental flexibility remains a cornerstone of this service, with options ranging from half day and full day sessions to weekend or weekly packages. This variety ensures that both casual riders and dedicated enthusiasts can find a plan that suits their specific schedule and cycling goals. By choosing the JEDD handcycle, you are investing in a high quality mobility solution that promotes independence and allows you to enjoy the outdoors with complete peace of mind.

Very very poor workers in this bike shop, one particularly very disrespectful and behaved like they had small brains with too much emotion. I went to enquire about what options they have and if they is any room for negotiation on the bike price, the guy started speaking these words- do you want me to give it for free, do you want me put money from my pocket, take it or leave now, throwing whatever was coming from his brain. Not even the owner would behave like this because they know if they do, nobody would buy anything from them. They could be good workers in terms of the service they do, but they had little business acumen. This on top of expensive price on very average bikes that were rusted, dented, old. I would not recommend this shop.

My bike lost traction in the pedals, brought it to UCD bikes and they installed a new rear cassette and second hand wheel for €40! I went again a few months later (last weekend) as my gears were getting stuck, they repaired on the spot and charged me nothing. I live locally and told my neighbours about how great the service is but they already knew! Definitely recommend 👍🏻
