A tiny must see in spectacular Landscape. Parking nearby. Small entrance fee. Misty mountain scenery was perfect. Easy Access from main road. Definetely Not barrier free, because historical place withon wild Nature.
Nice views. There are lots of stairs! Besides the view, not very much to see. Back and forth not circular route. 8 Lev entry fee plus 1.5 for parking.
Well worth the visit! Parking is up top of the hill and then you walk a few steps to the office where you can purchase tickets. Then cross the road into the fortress where there is plenty steps up. Visited on a very hot days, water is recommended. We managed to walk around and climb all the ay to the top with a 2 year old so I'd say kid friendly visit!
Small but very cool castle from the time of Assen II with a commanding view of the gorge and the valley. Doesn't take long to explore, but worth a visit if you haven't seen it and are into medieval castles 🙂
Excellent place to walk around and see great views on fortress and surrounding. Most mountains covered by trees and like as Switzerland, so many green color
Exceptional guide Filip!!!.. a very professional, kind and totally dedicated person to his work, a 10!!!. , in relation to the price and what is offered, bad, guide in Spanish and audio guide in Spanish, it has not been like that, and the price was really expensive, and they warn one day before that there is no guide in Spanish.. really alone has been compensated by the guide. The price is not proportional to what is offered on the excursion. I have paid €240 for two people in exchange in euros. You analyze what they have offered us and the cost, taking into account that another person came with us of English speaking who had paid for the excursion in English, in the end it was €40. . I felt cheated and outraged.
The tour was only me so I had plenty of time get to know the locations and the guide. Georgi was fantastic. He answered my million questions and just seemed to enjoy the day with me. Highly recommend both locations!

Georgi Palahutev was a careful driver, kindness personified, and an excellent knowledger of all sights, which he showed and explained to us in excellent German, but also gave us a lot of information about Bulgaria. In short: the perfect tour guide, who gave us a wonderful day, for which we would like to thank him sincerely.
