For safety reasons, proper mountain clothing is essential for this trek. If you don’t have the required gear, there is the option to rent it. The adventure begins just 15 minutes outside the city, where the trailhead starts in a peat bog, and quickly opens up to a series of increasingly challenging trails. As you venture further into the wild, the path winds through the Fuegian forest, lined with towering lengas and guindos, gradually ascending with a 600-meter elevation gain.
The final stretch of the hike takes you into high-mountain terrain, where the incline becomes more intense. The trail leads to the stunning Tempanos Lagoon, a remarkable destination surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. If the weather permits and the group is up for the challenge, the hike will continue around the lagoon, bringing you closer to the Vinciguerra Glacier. Here, you’ll have the chance to witness the glacier's cracks and moulins, adding an extra layer of adventure to the journey.
After soaking in the beauty of the glacier, the group will retrace the same trail back to the starting point, where transportation will be arranged to take you back to your hotel. Along the way, enjoy the serenity of the wilderness and the sense of accomplishment after conquering this unforgettable trek.

Great trek to do alone if you’d like time in nature with fewer people! Fairly challenging if you’re not used to steady climbing but a very fun hike if you’re in shape

Amazing glacier! Hiked up there in February, the trail is REALLY muddy so get ready for it, but it’s worth it for the view at the end! You can go closer to the glacier but respect the sign of no passing when you see it to stay safe! :)

Beautiful place. View from the lake to glacier is amazing. You can walk on the glacier, but should be careful, because many holes there. Trail is medium-hard level. Better go, when is dry weather, because few times need to go by dirty places and at one of them cross the river

I took a bus from the city to a bus stop where the street begins (from there walk 1 hour, take a taxi or Hitchhike) the trail to the glacier took me 2 hours up. The glacier is a hat you see on the picture. Not soo special but the way is nice cause the trail is beautiful and goes at some points straight or a bit up. Recommend it.

Amazing trek! We took our time with plenty of breaks, lunch and a photoshoot at the glacier which was just us, total roundtrip 7.5 hours. PERFECT easyto moderate hike! You do NOT pay to enter here and the trail has the best markers I have seen. You walk over many homemade bridges so is not accessible friendly, I would recommend walking poles for balance and when going through the muddy and wet parts (however plenty of wood to fine your perfect walking stick). We walked through many different landscapes I highly recommend if you live for nature.
