Ketut was a perfect guide, accompanying us to the sites while providing very thorough explanations, which were invaluable in helping us better understand the places and their inhabitants. Highly recommended for his friendliness and helpfulness.
Ketut is a wonderful tour guide. If you'd like to see the sights just outside of Ubud for a day, a private car is the way to do it. The cost is very reasonable and Ketut is really knowledgeable about Balinese culture, the places you'll visit and will also recommend good artisanal shops outside of the city center if you're keen on getting things like a traditional Balinese wood carving (cleaned and fumigated so you can get through customs). He speaks English very fluently and has a good sense of humour. The itinerary is fully customizable based on what you're interested in. The temple puri gunung batu is smaller and quieter than the famous one that everyone goes to, so I recommend making that switch. When we were on the way back to our hotel, there was pretty bad traffic so Ketut offered to drop us off in the city so we could walk around, and he would bring our belongings back to the hotel, which he did. He's trustworthy and honest. Highly recommended!
I’ve spent over 6 months in Indonesia and no driver has ever come close to being as amazing as Ketut from Ubud Bali Day Tours. He’s attentive, knowledgeable, fun and speaks amazing English. I brought my Mom with me to Bali this time and Ketut put so much effort into taking the vibe I wanted for the day and making a perfect itinerary for us. We had the most fun time, my mother immediately felt so comfortable. Ketut even helped her buy fruit at a market for a good price on the way and we ended the day laughing so hard on the way home. A very informative and engaging tour. Ketut is very knowledgeable about the sites, esp. Temples, making it an educational tour in the process. Speaks and understands English very well and is responsive to queries. Respects time and is considerate of his client's prolonged enjoyment of the sites. I had a great half day tour with Ketut. He’s a very caring considerate person who has excellent knowledge of the areas we visited and he took his time with me - I never felt rushed. He’s also happy to take your photos for you - very creative! There were some very steep steps he helped me with and amazingly, he custom made the tour especially for me to cope with. He had a great sense of humour. I would recommend him for anyone.
