Absolutely loved our trip-independent hiking with local support and advice. Also loved returning to the same lodging each night. The location was perfect to access a lot of different areas and the food and gracious service at hotel Tambra was wonderful.

Portugal Douro valley walking holiday was our favourite holiday! Skiing in Corvara is a firm favourite too. A trip to Andalusia walking was also a fantastic trip. All of the above arranged with Collett’s. We have done guided skiing & walking and self guided skiing & walking. This last trip to Portugal was self guided and used an app for navigation on a mobile phone. This was a great success and I would have no hesitation doing self guided again as long as there was an app! The app provided complete reassurance and was accompanied with a comprehensive ‘road book’. The hotels on our Portugal trip were picked by Collett’s and were absolutely perfect. The people in Portugal are very friendly and the accommodation very clean and comfortable with great food. Thank you to the team at Collett’s for arranging.

We had a fabulous time hiking in the Dolomites thanks to a well-organized visit orchestrated by Collett's Mountain Holidays. While most of our trip details were handled seemlessly by their UK staff, having ready access to local walk advisors enabled our group to pursue hikes within our capabilities and avoid trails impacted by recent snowfall.

Just returned from a fantastic week in Ehrwald. Great hotel, stunning scenery and brilliant support and advice from Klaas and Sharon, the Collett’s team. The comprehensive and informative guide notes were a huge help in tackling some amazing routes.

My dad and I recently finished the Camino tour with Collett's. This is my second tour with Collett's (previously did a wonderful Dolomites tour). The tour was excellent, from start to finish. The logistics, from arrival transport, luggage transport, and taxi pick-up, was efficient and well-organized. Javier, the on-the-ground guide, provided wonderful walking cards and a very thorough briefing to get us started on our self-guided walking tour. The accommodations were all unique and very nice. They were local places that we would have not been able to find ourselves! The provided lunches were good and more than sufficient. The provided dinners (3 in all) were also good, although we much preferred to go out and find our own bars and pintxos! The walking itself was beautiful and hilly. Most of the walking is along the coast and is stunning. The alternative paths provided a nice amount of challenge and were absolutely worth it for the views.
