We have just finished a four day tour with Velislav, which was amazing. We are an Australian couple and knew very little about Bulgarian life and their phenomenal history. Velislav unravelled this for us and could answer any questions we had and explained everything his knowledge of Bulgarian history is amazing. He was a professional and a safe driver. We did have some very heavy rain during our time and we chose not to do a couple of the sites we had arranged but Velislav was able to take us to other interesting places we had not even heard of. I highly recommend the guide Velislav (Velco). We traveled with 4 adults in the Rhodope Mountains with him. The trip was lovely. Velislav has a very broad knowledge of history and geography. With his help, we also learned a lot about the life in Bulgaria. Velislav is very reliable, kind. Patient has acpassion to his job, he insisted that we will not miss any attraction and it was enjoyable and important. I highly recommend Velco as a guide.
Our 5 day tour round western Bulgaria (itinerary set by a UK travel company) was far too brief but Velco made the best of it, using his experience to customise it to our interests.
