Set off on an energizing cycling adventure through Plovdiv, blending natural beauty, local charm, and hidden gems. The journey begins at the scenic Rowing Canal, a peaceful 2.2 km stretch surrounded by greenery, perfect for a fresh start and a healthy breakfast from one of the nearby food stands. With your guide leading the way, you'll pedal through quiet parks and vibrant streets, soaking in the lively atmosphere and connecting with the rhythm of the city.

One of the highlights of the ride is reaching the highest hill in Plovdiv, offering breathtaking panoramic views and a peaceful spot to pause for a picnic or simply catch your breath. From there, the tour winds down into the heart of the city, passing through the beautifully landscaped Tzar Simeon’s Garden and the iconic Singing Fountains—a beloved gathering place for locals. Along the way, you'll also discover some off-the-beaten-path treasures your guide has in store, adding a delightful element of surprise to the ride.

After around four hours of exploration, you’ll return to the bike center, full of fresh impressions and memorable moments. Your guide will gladly recommend a cozy local spot for a well-deserved lunch and some relaxation. The tour is fully customizable based on your preferences—whether you’re up for an uphill challenge or prefer a gentle, flat route. It’s a fun and flexible way to experience Plovdiv on two wheels.

We can not play with our cards. They say no paying, but then they mean no playing, then we have to pay and it lasts half an hour to pay and we get synthetic fruit

The countless efforts of showing Plovdiv's culturally rich tapestry during 2019. Events and activities all around the European Capital of Culture.

Great initiative, related to Plovdiv being the European Cultural Capital for 2019. The Foundation manages the projects for then. Their building is masterfully restored and modernized old tobacco factory storage building and it is amazing.

Plovdiv is a fantastic place to visit and I am glad it was selected as the European Capital of Culture as they have certainly put a lot of work in combining history with arts and culture; the Kapana District for example is a great example of what can be done if there is desire to transform an area.
