I just returned from a 3D2N diving safari with Maika, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! There were 5 guests and 7 crew members on board — both the team and our group were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was kind, fun, and easygoing, which made the whole trip feel like a small family adventure. We did 8 dives and saw so many amazing things — reef sharks, countless turtles, glowing plankton, and, best of all, I finally fulfilled my dream of swimming with manta rays. It was my first liveaboard experience, and I’m incredibly happy I chose this one. Our dive masters did a fantastic job — always smiling, keeping us safe, and sharing great energy throughout the trip. I really hope Maika and the whole crew continue doing well and growing — you deserve it! The only two small things I’d mention for improvement: – The replies before the trip were quite slow; quicker communication would make the booking process even smoother and help guests feel more confident. – The generator noise on the upper deck near the relaxation area made it a bit harder to fully unwind. Other than that, everything was just amazing — thank you so much for this unforgettable experience! 🌊🐢🤿
I joined a 3-day/2-night liveaboard excursion on the boat “Maika Dive”, and I can only speak in superlatives about Maika Komodo Tours. The entire program was perfectly organized and every detail exceeded expectations. The crew were not only professional but also extremely friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the trip. The food was plentiful and delicious, with impressive variety, even with a barbecue one evening. Both the dives and the hikes were excellently planned and executed. At nearly every dive site we had the place entirely to ourselves. The diving itself was safe, well-guided, and absolutely unforgettable. The boat was very comfortable and well-equipped: air-conditioning, multiple bathrooms, fresh-water showers, a relaxing lounge with a Bluetooth speaker, sunbeds on deck, and surprisingly spacious shared cabin. With 10 guests on board by the end everyone was sad to leave. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I would be more than happy to return and recommend Maika Komodo Tours. A huge thank you to the entire staff and crew for making it so memorable!
This tour was so magical! I could not recommend it enough! I did the 3D2N tour with Captain Paul and crew. The crew were so smiley, happy to help and friendly and we got to know each one of them. There was a small group of us so it never felt overcrowded. The food was tasty, the rooms were lovely and the views were just incredible. There isn’t one thing I would change! We were brought to the best snorkel spots with snorkel guide Sandro who was able to spot everything. We saw manta rays, sharks and so many fish and beautiful coral. A trip of a lifetime 🤩
