Initially, we had planned to visit the Kölner Dom to relive fond memories of enjoying mulled wine during our first Christmas in the EU, 20 years ago. However, due to a tight schedule, our plans changed, and we found ourselves in Brussels instead. Bruxelles proved to be the perfect setting to reflect on our journey. The people here have a warmth and attentiveness that feels as comforting as a cup of rich, handcrafted hot chocolate on a chilly winter day. The enchanting spirit of Plaisirs d'Hiver added a magical and unforgettable touch to our celebration.
Very beautiful Christmas Market, a lot of delicious food, we especially loved the takoyaki.
The Brussels Christmas market is a must go place. Take metro towards weststation and alight on gare centrale metro station. Market is 6-7 minutes walking distance from metro station. Handcrafts, food, perfumes, scented candles and a lot more. A perfect place for weekend stroll.
