Warriors on Water Sailing Bellingham
Warriors on Water Sailing offers a two hour sailing experience for military veterans, active duty personnel, and first responders. No previous sailing experience is required, making the program a welcoming opportunity to try sailing, learn basic skills, or simply enjoy time on the bay.
Participants can learn how to take the helm and experience the basics of sailing while spending most of the session on the water. The program also creates an opportunity to relax, meet others, and build a sense of community through shared outdoor recreation.
Each class uses a four to one student instructor ratio, allowing instructors to focus on individual learning needs. Whether participants are completely new to sailing or considering future boat ownership, the program offers a practical introduction to life on the water.
The session is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for participants with different goals and experience levels. Guests should be prepared to spend nearly the entire two hour session aboard the boat while learning, sailing, and enjoying the surroundings.
