We spent 3 awesome days with Martina. One to Pisa and the tower. One to Cinque Terre and one to Tuscany. Martina delivered a One of kind experience to each. She was super friendly and easy to understand. You could definitely feel how much she cared about each location as well as your experience. Martina is a must use guide for these locations. She will make sure you never forget them or experience.
We’ve used Martina as our tour guide for the second year in a row, and she once again created a wonderful itinerary for us. This year included visits to Volterra, nearby towns, and a local farm where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Exceptional tour! I booked a private tour to Cinque Terre (CT) for myself and two friends (3 ladies on a cruise from the US) with Martina. Prior to our tour, she quickly answered any questions I had and was flexible. She designs the tour to fulfill the dreams of her clients, within reason. Martina listened to what we wanted and provided options. Our tour started in the morning, meeting at the train station which was approximately a 25 minute pleasant stroll from the port. Martina helped us purchase train tickets to visit the five towns in CT. Being local, she easily navigated a busy train station which was very helpful. We were able to visit 3 of the 5 villages, which was the perfect pace for us. Martina explained the various historical areas, as well as the cultural, ecological, economic and social aspects of CT. She set aside time for us to shop and linger at our pace. She booked us at a lovely restaurant for lunch and then brought us to some of her favorite shops. Martina is a lovely, warm, smart, and articulate guide who welcomes you to her beautiful homeland and makes you feel part of it. What more can you ask for?
Martina was a delightful guide for our bike tour through Pisa. We enjoyed her warm and enthusiastic personality and gained a much deeper appreciation for the area, thanks to her insights and incredible wealth of knowledge. Bikes were an especially fun way to see the city, and Martina catered the tour to our pacing and interests. She was organized, efficient, patient, fun, and communicative through the whole process. Not only were we able to see the historic center, the field of miracles, and other beautiful parts of Pisa, but she also took us to a delicious pizzeria, an authentic goldsmith, the best gelato in Pisa, and helped us get back to our train with perfect timing. Our only regret was not having another day to spend with Martina, and we all hope to return and tour with her again to explore more of the Tuscany region!
Martina is the best tour guide!!! Martina is the BEST!!! She was our private tour guide for two days in Lucca. She is so knowledgeable about the history of the city and made every moment effortless and fun. My husband and I biked the city wall and walked around the historical center at a nice leisurely pace. Martina was a tremendous help translating for us everywhere we went. She helped us feel more like the locals, as we did a chocolate tasting and food tour. We tasted delicious bites that we would have definitely missed, without her. She has great relationships with the shop owners and tailored our days to whatever we were most interested in doing. Martina went with us on a wine tasting, which was my husbands favorite activity. My favorite activity was when Martina help me pick out vintage jewelry in the oldest jewelry shop in Lucca!!! She captured all of our activities by taking fantastic pictures of my husband and I. At the end of the second day we were sad to say goodbye to Martina. She made our visit to Lucca the best part of our whole Italian trip! My husband and I highly recommended her tour guide services!!!
