We got married in Castle Bellingham 2 weeks ago and all I can say is WOW! Castle Bellingham was the first & final wedding venue that we viewed as we knew from the get go that nothing else would compare. The staff at Bellingham made the wedding planning process seamless! The attention to detail was incredible throughout our wedding day. Ellen & Owen, we cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day feel so special – you were amazing. Our guests have raved about Castle Bellingham – from the food to the rooms, setting & staff! We just wish that we could do it all over again. We got married in Bellingham Castle in June with dinner there the evening before, and we just had the most incredible couple of days! I think the biggest compliment I can give the team is that as a bride who generally likes to be in control of things, they had done everything and thought of everything on the day before it even occurred to me. Everything was always in hand and it led to a completely stress free and enjoyable day, with everything just being run perfectly in the background. The staff are all so professional and lovely. Every small detail was taken care of, and all of the staff went out of their way to try and accommodate requests from us, both big and small. The castle and grounds are beautiful, and we loved having the very relaxed resident Irish Wolfhounds around. In typical Irish weather, it was raining for a good chunk of our day, but as well as having beautiful outdoor spaces, Bellingham have so many different areas and spaces indoors that the weather really didn’t detract, and guests were very comfortable and happy exploring indoors. The accommodation on site is great, both in the castle and the boathouse, and we loved being able to have so many guests on site in a private venue. We had been slightly anxious about not trying the food in advance, but we shouldn’t have worried - from the meal to breakfast the next morning, it was all delicious and plentiful. All in all, we couldn’t imagine a better venue and are so grateful to Ciara, Ellen and the whole team!
