The Perdekop Trail in Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve offers hikers a demanding yet rewarding ascent to the reserve’s highest point at 1,575 meters. The route begins with a steady climb through rugged slopes covered in fynbos, the distinctive vegetation that defines much of the Cape’s mountain landscape.

As the trail progresses, the terrain gradually opens to reveal expansive views across the surrounding mountains.
