An easy, beautiful hike for all ages. Not any shaded areas so wear a hat and sunscreen. Enjoy the amazing views of Table mountain, lions head, the city and ocean. Come early because parking is limited and always full on the lions head side. Alternatively park at signal hill and walk back. Enjoy 😉

Finished our hike in 1.5 hours including taking photos along the way. View at the summit is magnificent. There some ladders in between but it’s doable. Recommended anyone who visiting Cape Town to do this hike.

What an incredible experience. I hiked Lion’s Head this afternoon and it completely lived up to the hype — maybe even more. The trail is steep in parts but manageable for anyone with moderate fitness, and every turn rewards you with better views of Table Mountain, the city, and the Atlantic. Reaching the top felt surreal — standing above Cape Town with the ocean breeze and sunrise light is pure magic. Bring water, good shoes, and take your time; the climb is as much about the journey as the view. It’s a place that makes you feel small but free — a reminder of how beautiful life can be when you keep climbing. 🦁🌄
