We had a great time with our 4 day Mid-Eastern Part of Morocco travel with Sun Trails. From planning as we have a boy toddler, Cristian was flexible with my family’s needs. They chose the best accommodations for us (great food, great rooms, facilites, and staffs) and travel from one place to another is not difficult as we are with Daoud. We felt safe and fed with all the knowledge he knows about Morocco (from a local and Berber of course). Everyday was a great experience but of course the highlight was the Camel and the night at the Desert Camp (with bonfire and dance along the mesmerising Berber beats with drums beaten by the staff that takes care of the Camels) our son loved it! I didn’t mention during planning that my son has eczema and he will have flare ups on certain food but they informed all the accommodations we stayed in after hearing about and they adjusted to our dietary needs. We also went there during Ramadan which made it more memorable. Will definitely come back and it will be NortWestern Morrocco next time, see you!

Morocco 2025: We recently embarked on a 13-day private tour with Sun Trails Morocco Private Tours, and it was nothing short of mind-blowing. Our journey was meticulously organized by Cristian, and we were fortunate to have two incredible drivers, Hamza and Amine, who made our trip truly unforgettable. From the ancient alleys in the Fes Medina to the vast dunes of the Sahara, the lush palms of Skoura to the vibrant streets of Marrakech, the coastal breeze of Essaouira to the high Atlas Mountains pass—we covered countless kilometers in a trusty Toyota Land Cruiser, soaking in the beauty and contrasts of this incredible country. Our local guides in each city were incredibly engaging and thoughtful, providing us with so much interesting information and history. Their insights added immense value to our experience. The riads and lodges Cristian selected were absolutely incredible, offering exceptional customer service and a truly authentic Moroccan experience. Meals were a highlight of our trip, with delicious tagine, couscous, Moroccan breads like msemen and khobz, and above all, the delicious mint tea. The differences between life here and back home in Canada are striking, yet the similarities—the warmth of the people, the love of good food, and the stories etched in every corner—reminded us of our shared humanity. We are immensely grateful for the memories made, the beautiful landscapes, and the time to reflect.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are a newlywed couple from USA in our 30s and will be recommending Sun Trails tours to anyone we know who wants to experience Morocco. Our trip with Sun Trails Private Tours Morocco was beyond anything we could have imagined. Christian didn’t just organize a tour; he crafted a rich, immersive experience that captured the heart and soul of Morocco. Every day brought unforgettable moments that made our honeymoon an absolute dream. One of the highlights of our journey was our private driver and now friend forever, Amine El Boulal. Amine was more than just a driver; he was an ambassador for Morocco. He shared stories and insights that brought each region to life, and his warmth and humor made every mile memorable. Getting to know Amine on a personal level added such depth to our experience, and his kindness and attention made us feel welcome and at home every step of the way. We truly couldn't imagine the trip without him. Christian curated a perfectly paced itinerary that took us deep into Moroccan culture and landscapes in a way we’d never have experienced on our own. From a behind-locked-doors tour of a Medina with Mohamed in Sale, a passionate university professor who brought history to life, to sharing tea and couscous with BerBer villagers in the the High Atlas, each encounter was personal and authentic. Unbelievable. And spending a night in a private Bedouin tent in the desert, enveloped in absolute silence, was surreal. The guides Christian chose for us were incredibly knowledgeable and truly enhanced our journey. Khalid’s tour of Fes was captivating, making us feel like we’d stepped back in time among the medina’s ancient alleys and tanneries. Majid brought the ruins of Volubilis to life with fascinating stories that deepened our appreciation of the historic Roman site. Ibrahim gave us a glimpse into local life and trekking in Iminolawn village, and Lhosin guided us expertly through Imlil Village and a breathtaking hike in the Atlas Mountains with an enthusiasm that was contagious. Christian even took the time to meet us at our Riad on one of our final days to ask us about our experience and connect. Each day, the luxurious accommodations and thoughtful itinerary elevated our experience to pure bliss. Sun Trails didn't just meet our expectations—they exceeded them in every way, crafting a journey that will stay with us forever. If you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime journey through Morocco, Sun Trails is the way to go.

Morocco had been in our bucket list of places to visit for a long time. After two failed attempts (one due to the pandemic and the other one due to an earthquake), we finally got the trip organized. A friend suggested to contact Sun Trails Boutique Morocco Tours as the agency that would coordinate our trip. We contacted them and got a prompt response from Christian, the owner. He basically customized our trip based on our time and interests. After some back and forth we finally settled for Chefchaouen, Fes, Rabat and Marrakech. We were not disappointed at all. In regards of payment, we were asked to give a $200 deposit to get a full itinerary with the list of Riad’s (hotels), meals and activities. Due to the high season, we didn’t get a couple of choices but the alternatives Christian gave us were excellent. We then had to make a 30 % deposit and before the start of the tour pay the remaining balance. The latter was the only tricky part since the options were : 1.credit card (3% surcharge), 2. wire transfer to a bank in Morocco that can take up to 2-3 weeks to be credited to the recipient account and 3. Bring the cash with you. We arrived in Tangier and were picked up by Amine, a wonderful young Moroccan man in a spacious Toyota Land Cruiser (The 747 of Toyotas). All our travel was done by ground. Amine is a fantastic and careful driver. Never felt insecure at all. It took us about 3.5 hours to reach Chefchaouen. We stayed at Dar Echaouen, a wonderful hotel with an excellent restaurant. We traveled to Fes and stayed at the Ryad Salama, a magnificent Ryad inside the Fes Medina. Our tour included a guided tour of the medina and its Medresa, leather tanneries and carpet and ceramic cooperatives. Perhaps the only issue we had while at Fes was the smell of a camel leather bag we purchased at the tanneries (beware). After 3 wonderful nights we traveled to Rabbat were we had an afternoon tour of Salé by a very interesting university professor. We stayed at a very modern hotel the Riad Zyo. The following day we traveled to Marrakech. We arrived in the afternoon to Mon Riad where we stayed for 2 nights. The staff in particular Marina and the kitchen staff were fantastic. The following day we visited the Bahia Palace, the Kings Palace entrance and spent hours in the Medina. Every first night at each hotel included a wonderful Moroccan dinner. All breakfasts were included. Overall, we had a magnificent experience with Sun Trails Boutique Morocco Tours. We missed the desert but dream of coming back one day to visit it.
