The first night spent in the desert was truly magical. We set up camp in the heart of the dunes, with a sky full of stars overhead and the silence of the Sahara surrounding us. The Berber tents were comfortable and cozy, and the guides prepared a delicious traditional meal for us around the campfire. We even enjoyed an evening of local drumming and music, which added to the authentic desert experience. On the second day, we ventured deeper into the dunes, exploring the vast, endless sands. The beauty of the desert is hard to describe—it’s a peaceful, awe-inspiring landscape that you have to experience to truly appreciate. We also had the opportunity to watch the breathtaking sunrise and sunset over the dunes, which was one of the highlights of the trip. The guides were fantastic, sharing their knowledge of the desert and its rich culture. Our second night in the desert was just as unforgettable, with another evening of stargazing, delicious food, and great conversation. Additionally, we visited a local Berber family, which gave us a fascinating insight into their traditional way of life. It was a unique and special experience that I will always cherish.
