Experience a peaceful and scenic float trip on the Rio Grande with Far Flung Outdoor Center. This half-day adventure takes you through the stunning Colorado Canyon section of Big Bend Ranch State Park, offering a serene escape into nature. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of dramatic cliffs, desert landscapes, and the sparkling river as they paddle along at a relaxing pace. Our experienced guides provide boats, paddling equipment, and waterproof bags, ensuring your belongings stay safe and dry. Iced water is provided, but guests should bring their own bottle or vessel for convenience. This trip is beginner-friendly, making it perfect for first-time paddlers, families, or anyone seeking a tranquil getaway. Depending on water levels, the trip may occasionally take place in Big Bend National Park, so a park pass may be required.

Our half-day journey emphasizes safety, enjoyment, and flexibility. Each excursion requires at least four participants to operate, and Far Flung Outdoor Center will notify you if a reschedule or refund is needed. Paddling is individual, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the river at their own pace. Pets are not allowed, and due to varying river conditions, the exact route cannot always be predetermined.
