Horse Stalls and Campsites • 1 Night Stay

Board your horse at Wildwood Stables within Acadia National Park for a unique overnight equestrian experience. The facility offers three barns with spacious stalls water spigots and a bathing area for your horse. Guests can ride or drive along the park’s extensive carriage road network and enjoy the natural beauty of forests, meadows, and scenic trails. For those choosing camping, nine campsites are available with RV hookups providing water, electricity, and power access. This self-care boarding option allows riders to care for their horses while enjoying a peaceful outdoor environment designed for both horses and their owners.

All visitors must present proper vaccine documentation before unloading horses including proof of negative Coggins, EHV-1 (Rhino), and Rabies vaccinations along with a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for non-residents. Printed, organized copies are required as digital submissions are only accepted in advance. The stables provide wheelbarrows, rakes, brooms, and manure forks for daily care. Hay and shavings are available for purchase on site. With limited cell service and no Wi-Fi, guests are encouraged to plan ahead and prepare all materials before arrival to ensure a smooth and safe stay.
