I was just there this past week during Hurricane Melissa. I arrived just before the storm, unfortunately we could not make it out due to the airport closure. Hotel manager Adrian and his staff who chose to stay were in a word PHENOMENAL to those of us who were there. Food, and limited entertainment was great. They checked on every single one of us and made our stay enjoyable considering the conditions outside. They made sure that everyone stayed informed and safe. I will definitely be a returning guest to this property in the future. I am grateful and thankful for all of the staff as well as the hospitality of the Hyatt. Thank you!!

This place rocks. The staff is great and management went above and beyond in accommodating all the guests during and after hurricane Melissa. They kept the food and entertainment coming and it was great. They refunded everyone for their stay after the hurricane and kept us safe and sound at the property. I cannot give them enough accolades for their outstanding service and accommodation. I will definitely be returning here when they have recovered from this devastating hurricane.. WELL DONE ZIVA AND ZILARA. Outstanding service.

I’ve vacationed at Hyatt Ziva’s in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and Rose Hall several times. I continue to return because I always have a great experience. Recently returned to Ziva Rose Hall. Food great, cocktails great, Service great. Kudos to Daniel and the entire entertainment team; the music, games, water aerobics, etc were on point daily. The man at the Jerk Hut has the food and service at a 10 everyday. The Jamaican party the resort hosts is just the best. The grounds are beautiful and resort very clean. However updates are desperately needed inside the resort. Specifically the curtains in my room were really worn; the carpet throughout the resort definitely needs to be replaced. It’s old, worn and extremely dirty. One spot by one of the elevators on the 1st floor has a large spot. My 11 yo daughter asked me if it was a crime scene. Of course it wasn’t, but the big, red stain on the carpet initially scared her. The paint needs updating and decorative items placed on all of the large wooden console tables. The console tables are just bare.adding decorative will enhance the resort. The needed updates is why I scored a 4

Went with a groups of friends and everyone had an amazing time. I would like to especially mention some of the staff that we encountered. Onique at the front desk was so helpful and amazing. Kyle Mighty endured our stupid jokes and was absolutely professional. Gillian our server at the buffet was the best of the best. She was so polite, friendly and fast. She even organized a surprise for our friend celebrating a birthday. She is lovely! Avian firstly I’m sorry that we pressured you so much at the bar haha but you remained professional and we appreciate your service. Hotel manager Stefan was also very polite and professional. Shoutout to Jason even though we never met him he helped us to have a great day without any hiccups. Overall all the staff were fantastic even though I can’t recall all the names. The food was great, the property was very clean and everyone took the time to make us feel special even as locals.

The resort was amazing. The pools the beach access and the service from staff was awesome. My only unsatisfactory comment is the food option. Room service was provided, however it was often over an hour to receive the food. The in room service options were also limited. The best food I had was at the brick open pizza place and the Urban Eats which was at the main resort. The other restaurants were scattered around the resort about a 10 minute walk. The buffet, seafood restaurant, and the perk chicken dishes were either extremely too spicy, or lack seasoning. It was hard to find a good selection of food. I enjoy experiences all cuisines. I don't think this was my best experience of Jamaican food. Enjoyed all the entertainment and activities.
