Located on a hill with beautiful views A modern minimalistic building houses the winery. Inside we met the owner Martin who is a natural Story teller and entertained us for two hours with stories about his wines as we sipped them. A fun trip close to Krakow !
We had a truly wonderful visit to Winery Jura. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful panoramic views over the surrounding hills and vineyards – a perfect setting for wine tasting. Our tour was led by a very knowledgeable and engaging sommelier, who clearly had a deep passion for winemaking and guided us through the tour with great enthusiasm. The owner was equally welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home throughout the visit. The wines themselves were excellent – elegant, well-crafted, and reflective of the unique character of the region. We left not only with a few bottles, but also with a great appreciation for Jura’s winemaking tradition. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.
Visited during a Sunday tour & tasting session. I was positively surprised by the wine quality, which exceeded my espectations. I find the group was too large and, despite the fact that there were several foreigners, the tour was done as one group, only in Polish. I would have been more intimate and inegrative if they made 2 groups, one in polish and one in english. Provided snacks were good. The extra 40-min ride with the shuttle from Kraków was practical.
Winnica Jura was one of our highlights during our April trip to Poland! Prior to our visit, I emailed Marcin to see if he had availability for a tour/tasting. Thankfully he was able to accommodate (during the Easter holiday), and he even arranged for a driver to pick us up from our hotel and drop us off! We thoroughly enjoyed the wine (especially the Cabernet Cortis!), and the dialogue with Marcin. The tasting room is beautiful, and Marcin even had a little charcuterie board for our enjoyment. If you’re a lover of wine and/or you want to get outside the city for a lovely afternoon, definitely visit Jura! You will not be disappointed!
