Indoor Wind Tunnel Experience Offers Safe High-Speed Freefall Simulation


A professionally supervised indoor wind tunnel experience offers participants the sensation of flight in a controlled and highly regulated environment. Each session is conducted under the guidance of trained instructors who ensure correct body positioning and continuous safety monitoring throughout the activity.


The facility uses an aerodynamic vertical glass chamber measuring 4.5 meters in diameter, where powerful fans generate wind speeds of up to 330 km/h. This creates a controlled free-fall effect, allowing participants to experience the feeling of skydiving without jumping from an aircraft.


Safety and hygiene standards are a central focus of the operation. Participants fly individually with an instructor inside the tunnel, while protective nets prevent excessive height gain. All equipment, including helmets, goggles, and flight suits, is regularly cleaned and sanitized according to strict protocols.


Before entering the tunnel, participants receive a short training session covering posture, communication signals, and in-flight techniques. Each person completes two 1.5-minute flights, with recordings provided afterward, allowing them to revisit and share their experience.

This review is far overdue, but we did not want to miss sharing a much deserving review for Alicja. In the summer of 2023, we took a 3 generation trip to Poland from the USA. There were 11 of us and with limited time in the Krakow area, we had hoped to visit Auschwitz, Birkenau and hopefully Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory too. After much research, we contacted Krakow4you as they offered this option and their reviews were excellent. They did not disappoint! From our first communication, Alicja was nothing short of wonderful and accommodating. She worked with us to create a detailed itinerary, being attentive to our requests and making it all possible and flawless. Upon meeting Alicja, she was extremely kind and full of knowledge. Her personal and historical stories captivated us throughout the day and she was devoted to making our tour the best possible. It is a day we will never forget and we have Alicja to thank for this. Her compassion and passion truly shined and made the tour and our experience outstanding.

A must do trip when visiting Poland. Alicia picked us up from our hotel and a very nice clean comfortable car provided refreshments for us was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Auschwitz and Birkenau. Next, we drove to the town where the salt mine Had a wonderful local lunch and then went 135 feet below our surface to see this amazing structure and artwork all made out of salt. Alicja and her husband were absolutely amazing! From our return airport transfer to our trip to Auschwitz, it was simply wonderful! They are both so friendly and knowledgeable it made our trip so special! Alicja is so passionate with what she does it makes the time fly! I can’t recommend this company enough and if we ever return to Poland we will absolutely be using them again!
