Customer Reviews

Originally a local market, turned into mainly a tourist market with souvenirs. The market was substantially smaller than we expected and did not have much fresh food or local cuisine. It mainly has textile, home made conserved produce and Italy-marked kitchenware.

Campo se fiori is a neat square in the historic center. We were here twice this time in rome. Once in the evening and once during the day and I recommend doing the same because the flair couldnt be more different. During the day you find a vibrant market where you can buy touristy and not so touristy things and in the evening it's a wonderful place to have dinner amd/or a drink and watch the fire shows. Also the history of the place is quite interesting. Once a place of public executions it's now a lively square

Campo de’ Fiori was one of the most vibrant and lively spots I passed through in Rome. I walked through the plaza on my way to lunch at Osteria da Fortunata, and the entire square was bursting with color and energy. The market stalls were overflowing with vegetables in shades I’ve never seen before, wheels of cheese, fresh fruits, and countless bottles of limoncello — some of them in really funny, eye-catching bottles. The atmosphere felt authentic, busy, and full of local charm. I couldn’t resist buying a quarter kilo of pecorino cheese, which was absolutely worth it. The experience inspired me to try cooking carbonara the authentic Italian way when I got home. Even if you’re just passing by, Campo de’ Fiori is a wonderful place to soak in the flavors, colors, and everyday life of Rome.
