What else can you say about this amazing national park. It’s stunning, with far away horizons which you can melt into easily. Go with friends, partners, family’s and the family dog, you will be able to able to let them run wild (kids as well) It’s a lovely day walk or camping ground for a weekend. It’s brilliant, nothing beats this northern beauty. Step on the Cheedale stepping stones or clime the rigid Kinder scout, scramble up shutlingslowe and to top it off, have a wander around Lyme park house, where Jane Austin’s novels are based and written. It’s just perfect. From the train ride there you will feel Ethereal and though Ephemeral it will feel like a life time.
This has to be one of the most beautiful historical landmarks in England with the picturesque view and meandering paths that were teeming with hikers, dog walkers and those sightseeing. I was amazed at the beautiful landscape and views that absolutely took my breath away. The number of people who visited the park was wonderful to see, especially the wide range of ages from toddlers to seniors all out enjoying experience much like myself. My next planned visit is in the Spring, where I can get a different perspective of the scenic landscape when all the flowers are in bloom. It must look amazing seeing the vibrant colours adorning the hillside and peaks coupled with the smells Spring brings of nature at its wildest and most natural self; and gentle murmuring of the streams as they slowly trickle on by steadily heading off into the distance to a place only they know where.
