This seven to eight-hour tour takes you to a stunning and unique rock formation covering about one square mile, often referred to as “Brain Rock.” Its swirling red, orange, and yellow patterns create a surreal landscape that can feel like stepping onto the surface of Mars. The hike ranges from approximately 1.5 to 2.5 miles roundtrip depending on how much exploration is desired, with mostly flat terrain interspersed with uneven rocks and boulders in certain areas. Little to no shade is available, so guests are advised to bring hiking shoes, layered clothing suitable for the weather, sun protection, water, and a lunch or snacks that can be carried safely on bumpy roads.
