Join our Women and Genderqueer Beginner Snowboarding Clinic at Boyce Park for a fun, supportive, and skill-building experience on the slopes. This two-and-a-half-hour session is designed for participants ages 18 and older who are curious about snowboarding or want to improve their confidence on the board. Led by experienced snowboarder Maggie Sukel and our trained trip leaders, the clinic provides personalized instruction in a welcoming environment. The session begins in the parking lot of Boyce Park Four Seasons Lodge, where participants get geared up safely before heading to the slopes to practice essential techniques and develop skills.
The clinic encourages growth, confidence, and fun in a small group setting, with a maximum of eight participants to ensure individualized attention. Helmets, snowboards, and some additional snow gear are included in the program, while participants are encouraged to bring water, snow boots, hats, gloves, and other personal winter gear. With advance notice, additional winter gear can be provided. Cost assistance is available for those bringing their own snowboard and helmet. Participants should arrive 15 minutes early to prepare and dress for the weather, as trips proceed rain or shine. By reserving a spot, participants acknowledge that they are physically able to undertake the activity safely.
