Our taste test kiteboarding lesson offers an exhilarating introduction to the sport, designed for first timers eager to experience the thrill of flying a kite. You will quickly learn how to set up the gear including the kite lines and harness, and receive guidance on safety and proper equipment use. Standing and walking exercises will help you master flight controls before progressing into body dragging through waist deep water to develop your control over the kite’s power.
This fast paced lesson aims to build confidence and give you the opportunity to try the board and catch your first ride. While two hours may not be enough for everyone to ride independently, the experience lets you decide if kiteboarding is the right sport for you. Those with prior experience are encouraged to take the private kiteboarding lesson for more comprehensive skill development.

I started with Sylvain last year and he's been my instructor for over a year now. Here's 5 reasons to think about hooking up with him as an instructor: 1) he's patient so you can learn at your own pace 2) he helps you gradually master the fundamentals so you can piece them all together to get kite surfing for real 3)He's a very good communicator before, during and after the lesson telling you what you done right so you can build on that, 4) he's got lots of gear including wetsuits, so your upfront investment is the lesson and that's pretty much it and 5) he's a super nice guy who makes it fun and is passionate about getting his students kite surfing safely and with confidence.
The lesson with Sylvain was absolutely amazing! He was very patient and considerable, explaining everything in details during the lesson and even provided videos with feedback for each video afterwards! I’ll definitely go for more lessons with him!
Had my first kitesurfing lesson with Sylvain in Sutton last week and it was brilliant. He’s very experienced and knowledgeable — you can feel that straight away. I really appreciated the strong focus on safety: before even going near the water, we spent time on wind conditions, understanding how kites work and practicing with smaller kites. By the time we moved into the water with the full kite, I felt confident and prepared (though definitely needing lots more practice!). All the equipment was provided and was top quality. One lesson down and three to go — highly recommended for anyone looking to learn properly from an excellent and patient instructor.
My girlfriend and I did a three hour Kitesurfing lesson in Sutton with Sylvain; it was a great and novel experience with Sylvain demonstrating how to fly the kite properly. We then entered the sea, in a shallow area, where we both enjoyed the thrilling sensation of being dragged by the kite. I couldn't recommend this activity higher as it's unique and thrilling, while also v safe. Brendan
I did four lessons with Sylvain and really appreciated his calm and clear teaching style. He explains things really well and gives you space to practice while also stepping in with helpful advice. The lessons were great fun and well-paced. I now feel confident with water starts and I’m getting more comfortable with the sport each time I’m out. Wouldn’t hesitate to book more lessons with Sylvain. 10/10 would recommend, excellent teacher!
