The experience begins at our Downtown Community Hub, where participants receive a comprehensive introduction to basic kayaking skills and safety procedures. We provide all essential gear, including kayaks, paddles, and life jackets, to ensure everyone is properly equipped for the journey. The paddle covers approximately one to one and a half miles at a relaxed pace, allowing plenty of time to take in the stunning river views and enjoy the company of fellow participants in a supportive environment.
Safety is our top priority, and our excursionists are available to provide assistance both on land and throughout the duration of the paddle. Participants as young as three years old are welcome to join, with tandem kayaks available for those under thirteen. We maintain a minimum weight requirement of thirty-five pounds to ensure that all safety equipment functions correctly. This event is a fantastic opportunity for solo travelers, friends, and families to engage in a healthy and fun activity together.
Whether you choose to rent our equipment or bring your own non-motorized, seaworthy kayak, you are invited to be part of this special celebration.
