Kuglhorn is the less famous neighbor of Stetind. It offers a spectacular climbing experience for those who value quality over sheer vertical gain. The sharp ridge resembles a dragon and challenges climbers both mentally and physically. The trip starts with a hike up Verdenssvadet, a giant granite slab that is an adventure on its own. After reaching the col, climbers put on ropes and start ascending the ridge. The climb has many pitches and difficulty increases closer to the summit. From the top, the descent is an easy hike back to the car. Certified IFMGA mountain guides or aspirants lead the climb to ensure safety and a memorable experience. The route demands endurance and focus, but it is extremely rewarding for those who enjoy alpine adventure.

The climb is technically demanding and physically challenging. Climbers must be ready for exposure and long hours on the ridge. Equipment like ropes, rock rack, harness, and helmet are supplied free of charge. Climbers need a personal backpack for water, snacks, clothes, and rope space. High top mountaineering shoes are suitable for the terrain. The climb runs daily from June first to September twenty seventh and takes about eight to ten hours depending on fitness and group size. Age sixteen and above is required to participate. This is a perfect trip for those seeking an unforgettable alpine experience.
