Really dude internet presence & site but use on day was ok. Arrived on a cruise ship & bus stop is right at dock with lots of staff to sell you tickets & give advice. We paid 20euro for 1 day, both lines. It is a hop on hop off service although most people used it as a sightseeing bus ride. The city line takes you up the hill to the temple/crypt which is certainly worth visiting - 5euro. Getting a seat back on the bus could be challenging on a busy day. A couple of other stops incl near duopoly/clock. The second line takes you along the beach area to the lake & past the museum. All up, 2.5 hours. Convenient. The buses were ok - various sizes, quality. Audio available in English & Italian.

Exactly like others have said. Absolute waste of money and a waste of my time. They sold me the ticket and said the blue line Bus was leaving at 11:30. It’s now 11:45 and they are still just trying to cram in as many people as they can. I’ll be spreading this information on TripAdvisor and everywhere else I can.

Terrible service; complete lack of instructions. There's absolutely no signs showing where you're supposed to wait for buses at the various stops; drivers don't stop at all the sites mentioned on the tour map; you never know when the next bus will come, or if it's coming at all, or where to line up. This is a completely disorganized tour, and staff provides very little help.

Terrible service, not punctual at all. Buses do not come on schedule. People are standing in the aisles because there are not enough seats. Driver skipped stops. We were a group of 6 who got off on the 4th stop and then tried to get back on. Two buses went by with not enough space and the 3rd bus let us get on with no problem standing until the end of the line.

Messina is very walkable and I wish we hadn’t done this. It was 15€ a person or $20 USD. It was very early and the young lady we purchased our tickets from told us we couldn’t pay by card because her boss wasn’t there. We paid with cash, and then just a few minutes later turned a corner and there was someone at a set up booth where people paying by card. There were 2 trains and 2 buses waiting in line there, and we still waited 45 minutes before the train started since it wasn’t full. Had I known that they would wait until full even though there was no line I could have walked half the city by then as the city center is quite small. There are three stairs because we did get a nice view over the harbor because we took the train, and because it was very close to the cruise port. Look around closely if you’re wanting to pay with card and don’t be fooled by people just wanting to pay cash. It was also quite short to go all the way around. It was a decent option for my grandmother who has limited endurance.
