Clear Creek Canyon - Park Big Easy Trailhead It's a paved out-and-back trail (Peaks to Plains Trail) with stunning canyon views and easy access to the creek. You can cool off in the water or even go fishing. Great for families - kid and pet friendly with supervision. Includes picnic tables and restrooms. The trail is fully accessible, with handicap parking and smooth paths for wheelchairs and strollers. ¡A perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon outdoors near Golden!
Perfect hike if you don't want to do anything too difficult or on uneven rocky terrain. This trail is paved & runs right along the river. This hike goes on for miles & it's perfect for the whole family. Lots off pretty wildflowers along the trail & spots where you have river access. They also have a Pavillion where you can have lunch & listen to the sounds of the water
This park is awesome! Big Easy Trailhead is the place to park. Especially if you have kids or a dog. The entrace is near the water and has lots of areas to play in the water. Lots of fun. The main path is paved and there is a toilet (smells horrible). The trail goes up across the bridge and ypu then have choices. Lots of big rocks and trees. Lovely views and cool wildlife to observe. Highly Recommend!
