me and my friend went horseback riding here yesterday and we had an absolute blast. you go on a beautiful 50ish minute ride, some of which is along a secluded spot along the ocean, and then at the end you get to ride the horse into the water which was super cool and we got some great photos out of it. you can tell the horses are truly loved and well taken care of, which makes me even happier that this is the place we ended up as opposed to some of the other places that offer horseback riding. we really wanted to horseback ride at some point during our trip but it just hadn’t fit into our schedule, but when were on our way to the airport i decided to just see if there was anywhere along the way that had it, thinking it would be a long shot but worth it to at least check. I found this place and on a whim we checked it out not expecting to be able to, but there was a tour just about to go out and they had brought two extra horses so it felt like the stars had aligned lol. they were very accommodating to our tight schedule, allowing us to be the first two to go into the water thus allowing us to leave earlier so we could make our flight. we were so happy we ended up being able to do this, it really was a great way to end our trip to jamaica. thank you so much sand n’ saddle!!!
Amazing experience!! Staff is so polite and helpful! The owner is kind and attentive! Horses are well trained and friendly! Great tour with beautiful views and fun opportunity to ride the horses in the water! Couldn’t recommend more! If you’re going to go anywhere, go to Sand n Saddle!!!
Our family went to Jamaica in June 2023. My daughter and I went to Sand N Stable for a beach ride. We had such a great time!!! First, you can tell they truly care about their horses and their customers. They want you to have a great time so they make sure to match you well. The horses are in good flesh and well looked after. Second, Our guide was amazing. We did a private ride and trotted and cantered for most of the ride. We giggled like little girls. I was NOT in shape for that much speed for that long! They do such a great job of making sure you have a great time. Only downside was it poured and I got sunscreen in my eyes so I was “blind” for a lot of it. But I also didn’t check the weather before we left. Third, The owner was incredible and gracious and provided us with the story of the ranch. She cares deeply about her animals and even told of some rescues that she’d made where people were neglecting the horses. She was a delight. When we returned for a company trip in December, many in our group went to ride (I had an injury to my ankle that prevented me from going 😔) but they had a blast!
