We chose Lion King Adventures for a Private 5-day Safari: 1 day in Tarangire National Park, 2 days in Serengeti National Park, 1 day in the Ngorongoro Crater, and 1 day in Lake Manyara National Park (including a Walking Safari). From the very first contact, Lion King Adventures offered us an excellent proposal and answered all our questions promptly. They made us feel comfortable and confident about booking with them. We made the payment via Wise, and everything went perfectly. We arranged our own accommodation in Arusha (one night before and one night after the safari), and Lion King had no issue adapting the proposal and the pick-up/drop-off accordingly. Now, about our guide, Salehe Lionging — we highly recommend him. He has been a guide for over 10 years, and that experience truly shows in his knowledge and confidence throughout the safari. He clearly knew the terrain very well, drove safely, and always knew where to take us within the parks. He had an incredible eye for spotting animals — many of which we would never have seen without him. It was also very important to us that Salehe showed great respect for nature and the animals, as well as genuine care for his fellow guides on the road during the entire trip. Thank you, Salehe, for the amazing experience! Our vehicle (number 1 – Mufasa) was always spotless, with unlimited fresh water and several other drinks available throughout the safari. The lunches during the safari were excellent and served in generous portions. Salehe always found great spots for us to enjoy peaceful meals surrounded by nature. The selected accommodations (Olea Farm Lodge and Embalakai Serengeti Camp) also exceeded our expectations. A special mention to the friendliness and atmosphere at Embalakai — truly memorable. Amazing time with Lion King Adventures and our guide Salehe! We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the crater, southern and northern Serengeti. From airport pickup to our last day, Lion king did an amazing job creating our itinerary and selecting our accomodation. Salehe was so knowledgeable on the animals we saw and we got to see the Big 5 with him. He also shared information on the tribes, flowers, plants and life in Tanzania. He was a great and safe driver as well. He was always accommodating to stop anytime to see anything we wanted from the jeep even if we have seen the same animal multiple times. He was always making sure we had the opportunity to take pictures and also finding great scenes to shoot. Our accommodations before the parks and our tented accommodations in the park were exceeding our expectations and had all amenities needed (wifi, soap, towels, water, coffee, tea and sometimes toothpaste as well!) and very comfortable beds. Breakfast and dinner were mostly buffet style with all types of local food and we also had a BBQ one night which was very tasteful. The lunch food during the safari was amazing! It was 5 star picnic with actual silverware and plates, drinks and some sweets at the end. The people we encountered and Salehe were very welcoming and polite, full of happiness and smiles. Just finished the most amazing 7 day Safari with Lion King Adventures. Our incredible experience was made possible by our amazing guide Hamad. His knowledge and experience created the most memorable trip. He ensured our safety first and foremost, while also enriching us with knowledge of Tanzania and the Animals we saw, while also ensuring we have the opportunity to see every animal we wanted to. We took the 11 Day Luxury+ Safari Adventure which included a hike on Mount Kilimanjaro, game drives in Tarangire National Park/Central Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Highlands/Ngorongoro Crater/Lake Manyara National Park and a visit to Zanzibar Island with 85 friends and family. Lion King was present from the beginning to the end of our safari. It began with a greeting at Arshu airport with Maasai dancers and a snack box to revitalize us after our long trip to Tanzania. A welcome dinner at the Gran Melia Arusha followed. A large variety of delicious food was prepared to accommodate every palate and dietary requirement. (We have vegetarians and no beef Hindus travellers.). James, a mechanic and support staff followed our 16 jeep convoy through the Serengeti to ensure we had a safe and flawless journey. Every detail of our trip was meticulous planned by Lion King Adventures. Our guide, Yusuf, was knowledgeable and kind. He told us about historical areas and animals, taught us the nuances of the Swahili language and driving etiquette. He was just as excited, as we were, about this trip. Our safari was truly overwhelming experience.
