Staro mestno jedro Ljubljane in Ljubljanski grad

We begin at the Town Square, one of the most beautiful Baroque settings in Ljubljana, where we admire the Town Hall and the famous Robba Fountain. From here, the walk continues across the Triple Bridge, Jože Plečnik’s ingenious architectural solution that transformed the riverbanks into a vibrant central city space. Our journey then leads to Prešeren Square, the cultural heart of the city, marked by the statue of Slovenia’s greatest poet and surrounded by elegant Art Nouveau buildings and the Franciscan Church.

The route takes us onward to the Central Market, a lively place full of local flavors and aromas beneath Plečnik’s arcades. We then visit the Dragon Bridge, a remarkable technical achievement and one of Ljubljana’s most recognizable symbols, guarded by its four mythical dragons. The tour concludes at the top of Ljubljana Castle, reached by funicular, where the medieval fortress offers unforgettable panoramic views over the city and the Alps, completing a rich and immersive experience of Ljubljana’s architecture and stories.
