We stayed here for 2 nights , the place is breathtaking , absolutely stunning and I enjoyed every second of it. And we didn't want to leave . I will definitely be booking again. The hosts were fantastic and the place was immaculate. We loved the homemade lemmon cake and and the fresh farm milk was very much appreciated. The Christmas decorations where beautiful it was a fantastic experience. Thank you to Peral and Archie.
I booked to stay at the Aurora log cabins for my husband's 60th birthday. He and my son had watched the cabins being built on-line 6 years ago. I had wanted to stay in something a bit different so I booked the cabin with Pearl. We drove down the small private lane and then the 2 log cabins are just sitting in front of you. They are so impressive and enormous when you get to stand beside them. This was a surprise for my husband's birthday and he was delighted, it was definitely the wow factor. The finish inside was very high end, comfortable bedding, Rituals toiletries, even white bathrobes. There is a large barrel tub outside each cabin, looking down to the coast and across to Rathlin Island. The peaceful landscape, country noises, birds, cows was so peaceful and calming. The workmanship in building the cabin and the size of the logs is something you just keep looking at as you spend time in the cabin. A beautiful space to spend the weekend with a lovely atmosphere. Pearl greeted us on the Friday afternoon and again before we left on the Sunday morning. A friendly welcome, chatting about the cabin and we were left a glass bottle of local milk and beautiful lemon drizzle cake, a nice touch. We loved our stay in Salix log cabin and we definitely want to return. What an experience to stay in a Canadian Red Cedar Log Cabin, just an hour from Belfast, along the beautiful north coast. Thank you Pearl and Archie for bringing these to Ireland.
Excellent stay at Aurora. Peaceful location, minutes from Bushmills. Cabin was spacious, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Hot tub under the stars was a highlight. Would definitely recommend for a luxury break.
