I had the best hiking experience with Toni as my guide. He was the best! He guided us to the Korouoma hiking loop while also explaining everything in details. From nature wildlife, the track history, safety of the tracks, tips to navigate through the hike, story behind the waterfalls, and even local folklore. The hike itself was also very beautiful as we can see the waterfalls, forests, and even reindeers! The small group system made it wonderful as we can move better and asked many questions to Toni. He was also very caring and made sure of our safety throughout the journey. We also enjoyed a very fulfilling lunch at the end of our hike with Finnish food and warm drinks by the campfire which was very fun. We even went to many waterfalls, not just the official ones! BEST HIKING EXPERIENCE EVER! I recommend you to book this tour especially in a good day when it's not extremely cold, but honestly they provided you with winter gears anyways. We also experienced soft snowfall which was great because it felt magical while not drenching you.
Our guide, Cevo, was absolutely outstanding. If 10 is the full mark, I would give him 11. He put tremendous effort into searching for better aurora conditions, stopping at multiple different locations. He also took many highly professional photos for us and explained the science behind the Northern Lights during the journey, which made the experience even more meaningful. We could truly feel his passion for the Northern Lights and photography, as well as his dedication to capturing the perfect shot, which we deeply admire and respect. In addition, his driving skills were excellent — maintaining a good speed while being extremely smooth and stable, which made us feel very safe throughout the trip.
