This was probably the best or definitely one of the best distillery tours I’ve done, Jameson the worlds best selling Irish whiskey which dates back to 1780 when the distillery was opened. The company moto Sine Metu Without fear is just perfect . The tour begins with a video in 3d . The lady hosting the tour Leah was exceptional. Her enthusiasm was infectious. She guided us there the history to the distillation process and helped us sample the end result. The Jameson distillery edition is lovely. The videos on the pot still and triple distillation are excellent. The bar at the end of the tour JJ is beautiful. All in all ten out of ten .
We had a wonderful experience at Jameson Distillery. The tours are exceptionally engaging and interactive, the tasting room is quite pleasant, and Collin, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable during his presentations. We highly recommend this experience if you are visiting Dublin.
We visited the distillery on December 30th in the late afternoon. The whisky tasting was part of the “Cask Draw” experience. It included a short 10-minute visit of the maturation room and a tasting of a 20-year-old whisky — absolutely exceptional and not sold commercially. The price was €15 per person. The whisky itself was outstanding, and the staff member who guided us was friendly and created a nice group atmosphere. That said, the whole experience felt a bit brief and not very personalized for the price. Apart from that, it was still a great opportunity to taste a truly remarkable whisky in an authentic setting. De the distillery is a really nice place quite modern Irish chemistry but also very commercial place.
