Me and my two sons had a fantastic time with Drew for two days. Drew knows how to fish, where to fish and when to fish and most importantly, CATCH King Salmon. He is the best and most courteous fishing guide we have ever had. He did NOT do the typical big guide boat thing like drift along with 6 to 10 people in a fancy boat for hours hoping for a catch. When we were not getting hits, Drew would move to make sure we caught fish. He CARED!!! Our salmon was cleaned, vacuum sealed and frozen to take home. I highly recommend Drew if you want a great fishing experience. Joe, Erick and Joey!
I called Hood River Adventures for a last minute fishing trip, Drew the owner responded quickly and got us on the water the day we wanted. We met at the marina in Hood River and we were on the fish within the first 45 min of our trip. We made multiple passes and had take downs, double hook ups, landing multiple fish throughout the day. Drew the owner is very knowledgeable of the local waters, patient, kind, and genuinely enjoys guiding customers to catch fish. Id recomend this company for anyone looking to catch fish with a sincere and caring guide, he genuinely loves his job and cares about his clients and their time fishing with him. 5 stars I highly recommend this guide service!!
Just got back from an absolute badass trip on the Columbia River with our guide, Drew. From start to finish, the experience was top-tier. Drew was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and just an all-around awesome guy to spend a day on the water with. His hospitality was unmatched, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best time possible. Salmon was unfortunately closed during our trip, but honestly? I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Drew had a backup plan dialed in that blew our minds. We pulled up 7 massive sturgeon, some measuring over 8 feet long — total river monsters. On top of that, the smallmouth bass fishing was out of control. Between the four of us, we caught over 125 smallmouth bass. Non-stop action and some of the best fishing I’ve had to date. This trip exceeded every expectation. Can’t wait to come back and book with Drew again — if you’re thinking about fishing the Columbia, this is the guy you want. 10/10
