Get ready for an exhilarating 8-10 hour Iditarod snowmobile tour, departing from Willow at 1 pm. This adventure takes you along the famous Iditarod Trail to the first checkpoint at Yentna Station Roadhouse, covering a total of 80 miles over hills and along the Yentna River. Along the way, guests cheer on the mushers and experience the thrill of following this historic race. The tour includes a four-hour snowmobile ride, with all necessary gear provided, including snowsuits, gloves, goggles, helmets, and the snowmobile itself. Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid license, while face masks, neck gaiters, and gratuities are not included.

Upon arrival at Yentna, participants enjoy a warm dinner at a local lodge while watching the mushers arrive at the checkpoint from the comfort of a bonfire. This immersive experience combines the excitement of the race with the beauty of Alaska’s winter landscapes. Cancellations made 14 days prior to the tour receive a full refund minus fees, while those 7-13 days in advance receive a 50 percent refund. Cancellations less than seven days prior, no-shows, or bookings within the seven-day window are non-refundable. Travel insurance is strongly recommended, as rescheduling is not available due to the tour’s unique date, and Snowhook ensures every effort is made to position guests for the best experience.
