Summer Dog Sled Adventure

This two-hour dog sledding experience offers all the excitement of riding with an Iditarod dog team without facing the cold. Guests will enjoy a personal, small-group adventure that includes a ride with the sled dogs and a visit to the kennel, providing an up-close look at the dogs and their daily routines. Tours depart daily at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 5:30 pm, and participants are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure a smooth start. All necessary gear and equipment are provided, making the experience comfortable and accessible for everyone, including those new to dog sledding.

The tour is ideal for families, friends, and small groups looking for a unique Alaskan adventure. Guests who are uncomfortable around dogs should notify the operator in advance to ensure a successful experience. Cancellation requests made seven days or more before the tour receive a full refund, while cancellations three to six days prior receive a 50 percent refund. No refunds or rescheduling are available within three days of the tour, for no-shows, or for same-day bookings. If the tour is canceled by Snowhook Adventure Guides of Alaska due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
